Owned and run by Tom & Kelly Dupont of Wānaka, you deal with the owners, the whole way through.
Our story
Long before we built pools for other families, we built one for our own.
It changed the way we lived through the hot Central Otago summers. That experience is the reason Dupont Pools exists today.
We’re Tom and Kelly Dupont, Wānaka locals and the Leisure Pools dealers for Central Otago. Tom is a New Zealand Master Builder, and Kelly is a qualified interior designer. Together, we also own and operate Archi Build, our Wānaka-based construction business, so we understand a project from every angle: before the build, during it, and long after the pool is handed over.
Being based here in Wānaka means we know this region: its climate, its ground conditions, and what actually holds up through a freezing Central Otago winter and a hot summer. We supply and install equipment we trust to perform here, tailored to your site and needs, and ordered on a per-project basis specifically for your build.

How we work
Our own team, every step.
Unlike many pool companies, we employ our own installation team rather than relying on contractors. It means consistent quality, real accountability, and a full team genuinely invested in getting every detail right for you from start to finish.
Every pool build is different. We’re flexible in how we work, taking on as much or as little of the project as you need, always shaped around your budget and vision. We deliver on time, on budget, with no hidden costs, and we’re with you at every step, from first conversation to the first splash!
Kelly looks after design and admin; Tom leads the install alongside his team.
It’s a hands-on, family-run way of doing things, built on partnership, craftsmanship and commitment, and one we’re proud to stand behind.
Outside of work
At home, you’ll find us in our own pool.
Outside of work, you’ll find us up the mountain in winter, and biking and golfing in summer, but at home, you’ll find us in our own pool. There’s nothing quite like swimming at home at the end of a hot, busy day, and it’s an experience and lifestyle we genuinely love being able to pass on to other local families. We take great pride in every pool we build, because we know first-hand what it means to live with one.
