About Dupont Pools

Dupont Pools (previously Cool’em Pools) are the dealers for Leisure Pools Central Otago and Queenstown Lakes area. Owned and operated by Wanaka based Tom and Kelly Dupont.

Tom is a NZ Master Builder and is the director of the well-established Wanaka construction company Archi Build Ltd www.archibuild.co.nz

Kelly is a qualified interior designer with over 10 years’ experience and has a passion for helping people create beautiful homes, both inside and out.

Tom and Kelly built their own pool for their new home and experienced first-hand the delight it brought to them, their families and friends.  Their pool quickly became the hub of the home over the summer months.

They took over Cool’em Pools with the purpose to build exquisite, safe, superior quality pools for Central Otago families and share the enjoyment of being a pool owner.

You will work with Dupont Pools throughout the entire process with Kelly running administration and Tom leading the installation, alongside his team to ensure high standards are met. Tom is very knowledgeable in pool installation, construction, excavation, plumbing, and local council requirements. 

Kelly is on hand to answer any questions, queries and would love to assist you with the design of your pool space.

Both Kelly & Tom have completed Leisure Pools training in Australia.

When combined and strategically embedded within Vinyl Ester Resin-reinforced fibreglass, the fibres form a composite matrix of structure and strength, designed to leverage stability against external pressures.

Leisure Pools are engineered to accommodate the natural swelling and contracting process of the Earth with ease.

Leisure Pools use Vinyl Ester Resin to throughout the manufacturing process to keep groundwater out and protect against osmosis.

Leisure Pools use Allnex gelcoat which provides excellent UV, blister and chemical resistance, holding up to the intense Central Otago and Australian summer heat.
